MEETING WITH
Léonard Tramolay
My ultimate goal is to become a professional tennis player. But in the other hand it is very important for me to make academic studies in order to graduate. I have the experience and motivation to work hard in both required attributes in order to leave an impact on the college team I represent.

Interview
What makes you different ?
What makes me different is that I started tennis in competition later than everyone. I have always been far of the best players of my age but the last couples of years I never stopped improving my game and I got closer to them. The fact that I started competing late gives me a mental freshness to keep working hard and a great desire to push my limits.
Why do you want to compete in college ?
I want to compete in college because I have always loved being part of a team. When I play for my team, I am ready to give everything to them and it brings out the best in me and my game. Moreover, I think that by being part of a team, we can inspire each other and pull each other up, and I love that energy.
College goals ?
My college goal is obviously to graduate first. But I really want to use my college years to improve my tennis game and take a lot of experience in playing in a college team. I think playing for a college team can make me learn to deal with another kind of pressure and prepare myself for the ATP tour.
Tennis and Life goals ?
I don’t give myself any limits in tennis or in life. I just want to give my best and having no regrets in a few years, wherever I may be.
I want to give the best version of myself to help the university team.
