Interview
What makes you different?
My journey combines a strong passion for tennis with an unwavering commitment to academics, particularly in Physics and Astronomy. Before starting university, I was among the top-ranked players in my region, which taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and adaptability. Transitioning to higher education in France meant sacrificing the level of tennis I once played, as it is challenging to balance both. However, my experience has instilled in me a deep sense of time management and dedication, which I am eager to bring back to my tennis game and academic pursuits in the U.S.
Why do you want to compete in college?
The U.S. college system offers a unique opportunity to combine high-level academics with competitive sports, something that is difficult to achieve in France. I am excited by the prospect of pursuing a master’s degree in Physics or Astronomy while returning to a structured and competitive tennis environment. The balance provided by the U.S. system will allow me to push my limits both on the court and in the classroom, surrounded by top facilities, coaches, and academic resources. This environment aligns perfectly with my ambition to excel in both my studies and my sport.
Tennis and Life goals?
I am eager to grow as a player, contribute to a collegiate team, and refine the skills that once made me a top regional competitor.
